Hey Joe!
“Master’s pizza, Picosos, La Nova’s,Avenue’s”, are def some more of the more popular ones as well and are all top notch just to name a few but are most def musts..
Anchor bar is pretty awesome place but just not really know’n for their pizza as much despite their history/wings. Personally I wouldn’t of recommended them for a pizza review, but it’s cool to finally see ya in Buffalo man 🙂
If you should happen to be outside of Buff a little north like say Lockport; You just have to try “Molinaro’s pizza” without question. In that same area is also Frankies which is also a good place that’s top of list, and those two are pretty good over there and are completely different styles.
If your around Lancaster or Depew area I would def try and hit up Ronny’s…
Happy hunting Joe.. 🙂
“Bocce Club pizza,” which is probably the most popular. People actually order it to be shipped to them that live out of state and would be my first stop. I actually meant to “copy and paste this in the original message so sorry about the multiple messaging Joe lol…
Not a problem! Thanks so much for the suggestions! Macy’s, yes! I’ll be posting my review from their Kenmore location tomorrow! What do you think it will score?
Bocces, Carbones, Imperial, Bella, Mister Pizza are all my top choices. The most legit Buffalo pizza here. Looks like you went to the Macy’s new location. Their original location in Cheektowaga is even better. If you want the best Detroit style though, hit up one of my popups! IG: @bflo_homechef!
Try coco next time your in buff, not a standard buffalo style but really good…also if you havent yet, Picassos is great (I’m more of a Brooklyn style or New Haven style guy tho myself)

Looks like you got a little bit trigger happy talking about Pizza and copy/pasting the same message. All good! Thanks so much for all the suggestions! Looking forward to trying them ALL! 🙂
Thank you! Nono, I won’t let one place set the bar for the WHOLE city! I wanna try em all! You are the 2nd person to tell me about Carbone’s today. It is not too far from the Peace Bridge, correct?
James! I really appreciate those suggestions! Thanks so much! Are those in order of your fav to less fav? Are all of those the same style of Pizza? Thanks again!
All in Buffalo:
Macy’s Place – great overall. My favorite red sauce and best specialty game in the area by far.
Bocce/Imperial – not my favorite but the quintessential Buffalo Pie. Imperial owner former Bocce employee (same style as Boss in st Catherines)
La Nova
Lovejoy
Carbones
Bella Pizza
TC Wheelers riduclous amount of cup and char pep.
Good Guys -thick dough and ridiculous amount of cheese and toppings.
I call it cracker pizza. The crust is like a saltine cracker w cornmeal. I’m from NY so this is about all we have in the Central Valley. Don’t love it but can do the Valley Veggie.
Hey Joe, don’t see exactly where I leave a comment, but if you’re in Brampton, try the following:
Mackay pizza (the location at north park and Mackay, don’t go to the other one. It’s not as good.)
Venezia Pizza on Sandalwood.
And Tony & Jim’s
Hey Joe, would love you to come to Cornwall and try any of the following
-Louis pizza
– riverside pizza
-mannys pizza
-Olympic pizza
– romas pizza
– north end pizza
-napoleons pizza
Very pricey, very thick. All of them are a Cornwall staples . I just don’t really get it tbh. Please try and tell me if there is something I’m just not getting
Whenever you decide to hit the Nations Capital heres a few musts:
Number one spot stands alone, best pizza ive ever had – Heartbreakers Pizza
couple more :
– Tennessee Williams
– Robertos
– Giulias
– Louis (on McArthur)
Windsor Pizza is the best in Canada. There was even a documentary on CBC a month about about it. “The pizza city you’ve never heard of”. I believe you can watch on CBC GEM.
Top pizza places in Windsor :
Antoninos, Capri, Naples, Armandos (all four of those are in South Windsor – all within a couple minute drive of each other although they all have multiple locations.)
Other decent Windsor places: Arcata, Comos, Bulls Eye, Rosas, Windsor Pizza, Pizza King – all “Windsor Style” as well.
Also Check out Ciacioro club, Caboto club and Tera Cotta for wood oven pizzas. Oven 360 for neopolitian (gas oven) pies. Armandos Amherstburg for Detroit style deep dish and experimental pizzas.
Shredded pepperoni, canned mushrooms and galati cheese (local and legendary) are part of what make Windsor pizza special. Plus the best dough and sauce around.
If you come to Windsor area you have to try OG Pizza. All are great, I run the one in Leamington (short drive from Windsor). Best Windsor style pizza in the area. We’re big fans of your reviews and can’t wait to see what you think of Windsor style!
Gotta hit up Pazzo’s in Dunnville. When I took my hockey team there 3 times a year the bus would stop and pick up some pies for the ride home. Had cup and char if I remember correctly. Been few years now.
