We drive there from St Catharines! It’s amazing.Enjoy!

There’s one by the same name in Thorold but they are unrelated to one and other I’ve asked. Could save on gas 🤣

Gigis is our go to. Italian family owned and run. Mother is from Italy, makes the dough daily. Used to make the sauce daily, not sure if they still do. Pizza central I always find very oily so we stopped ordering from there. Neighbourhood is meh – same old same old – not bad but not good.

Hey Joe you have to try Buddy’s pizza in Michigan. There are lots of locations. I go to the one in Farmington hills. The original one is in Detroit Michigan.

    BUFFALO AREA
    Anjons- Orchard Park
    VinLouie – Hamburg
    Maria’s- Angola
Nino’s – Hamburg and West Seneca ( WS is slightly better in my opinion)
LaNova – Buffalo and Amherst. This is probably the most famous pizza place in Buffalo

If you’re ever on Long Island, you can’t go wrong with Victor’s in Melville; Porto Fino and DiRaimo’s in Huntington; Anthony’s in West Islip…

Honestly, anywhere in the NY Metro area is great for pizza. Part of New Jersey and Connecticut are also outstanding.

Joe! You don’t write, you don’t call? 😆 when in Boston (again!), you’ve got to hit Galleria Umberto, SANTARPIO’s, Posto, Armando’s, area Four, Picco, Monte’s and…there’s a unique style made famous in Boston’s South Shore towns -South Shore Bar Style Pizza (SSBP)! Try Lynwood, Town Spa, Cape Cod Café, Poopsie’s, Hoey’s, Jo’s Flying Pizza and Smitty’s to start. If you can get to New Haven, CT- Frank Pepe’s (also in Chesnut Hill, MA (Boston)) , Sally’s Apizza, Modern Apizza and Zuppardi’s.

I grew up in New Haven, CT! Some would even call it the pizza capital of the world! (Although no New Yorker would admit that) In New Haven we call it apizza. In Italian it’s “la pizza” but the Italian Americans slang shortened it to Apizza. Pronounced “ahbeetz”
    Sally’s Apizza is my Mecca
    Modern Apizza
    Pepe’s Apizza
    Zuppardi’s Apizza
    All are on Instagram.

    1. Dave! Love the history lesson! Thank you much many! And thank you for all of those suggestions! Lucky guy growing up in a place so well known for their Pizza! Where do you live now?

    2. Scott

Nobody outside of New Haven would call it that, let’s be fair! LOL – Srsly, you guys do have some great pizza. It’s all delish in the tri-state.

I have several Hamilton, Ontario spots to try out. All of them are various styles of pizza. #1 Chicago Style pizza Upper Sherman/Brucedale. I recommend the deep dish
#2 Cowabunga Upper Wellington/Queensdale. More of an NY artisan style pizza place. #3 Mai Pai Pizza
        It’s Detroit style. Birch/Barton.
