Hey there! I’m not certain if you’ve ever been to the Grain House in Barker (just north of Lockport), but I recommend you try their pizza! They have both traditional and sweet sauce to choose from and choice of traditional or cup and char pepperoni. I personally prefer cup and char with bacon and sweet sauce. Try it out and would love your thoughts on it!
And this Saturday just happens to be the Corn Festival; stop down for pizza, beer, and some fantastic fireworks!
Batavia is close by, pizza151, ficerellas, batavias original, romans (wood fired), main st pizza, Jerry arenas
If you make your way down the thruway, definitely check out some Rochester spots. Pontillo’s is a local chain that rarely misses, Good Guys is great, Guida’s is great (but their regular pie is too thiccc for me, get the thin crust). Giuseppe’s is excellent. My favorite is Pizza Stop though. Most places have cup and curl pepp, but you may have to ask for it. Any questions, let me know. Keep up the great work!
If you are still in Lockport NY. Please try Lake Effect Ice cream 79 Canal st Lockport NY. They have a review worthy ice cream called Red Hot. It is infused with Franks Red Hot sauce. I know it’s not pizza , but it’s summer time , and this is a wild flavor
Not sure if you have been there yet but Papas Pizza in West Seneca is definitely one of the best I've ever had. I'm a pizza fanatic and wouldn't waste your time with a Mediocre recommendation
Hey Joe, can you try Short Street Bar in Lockport, NY? I would rather you be the guinea pig instead of me.
You have to try Chop's shop pizza in gasport ny. Just down route 31 from Lockport. My wife and my favorite the traditional sauce with garlic Parm crust.

Hey Joe! I would love to see a review of Hunt Brothers Pizza available in convenient stores. They have an operation contracting their ovens to stores to sell their pizza. It is the best gas station style pizza I have had! The closest location to me is on the corner of Witmer Rd and Military Rd in Niagara Falls, NY inside the gas station store. If you take a drive down the road a ways to Gail’s Tobacco and Gas they have a Hunt Brothers Pizza oven there as well and they make the food much better at that location.
Hey, see you’ve been doing a Lockport series. I’m from wny but new to Lockport and so far Pizza Oven and Chops have been my favorites in the area…give these a try!
Heyy Joe this pizza looks really really good. Would love to know your opinon.
Pizza Hut, Big New Yorker! *brand new*

Not sure if you've gone to Detroit yet.....but if not, you have to try Mootz Pizzeria! I had their spicy Hawaiian and it was literally fire. Thin crispy crust, loaded with toppings. Absolutely delicious. The 2nd place you have to try while there is Buddy's Pizza. Claimed as the original Detroit style. I had their 'Detroit Public TV' pizza. Super crunch crowing cheesed edges, a medium thick crust, just a real good square pie.
